Pickler who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, experienced an unhappy childhood. At the age of two Her mother left to avoid an abusive situation. In 1995, she was returned into the world of Pickler and was granted the custody rights. However it did not take place as expected. Pickler's grandparents raised her from the age of 12 to the age of adulthood. Pickler needed to look after of her siblings without her parents. Pickler admitted she didn't find time to attend classes and started how to be a homemaker in the early years. Pickler took part in cheerleading squads of both her middle and high school.
